Seven Tops members weighed in and all stayed for the meeting Monday evening, January 3.  George Olson earned the diet basket.  Martha Thompson read a poem “Dash away all”.  She also read correspondence that she had received.  Thelma Gaddis had an item for the program “The Shoe Box”.

Eight Hotsie Totsie Red Hat ladies met at Lee’s Cafe for their regular monthly meeting Saturday Morning, January 8.  Our meeting was changed from January 1 to January 8 on account of New Year’s Day.  We canceled our supper to Freddy’s in Seneca Saturday evening.  Will go to Windmill Inn for supper January 20 at 5 p.m.  Our Valentine supper and gift exchange was discussed.  Will set a date at the next meeting, February 5.  Those furnishing snacks were Jane Heinen, Timmie Lee, Betty Wenzl, Marilyn Petry, Martha Ross and Thelma Gaddis.

Timmy Lee attended the funeral of her brother Mike Kuder of Kansas City.   Mike died on Monday, January 3.  Visitation was at the Maple Hill Funeral Home on Thursday January 6, and the funeral was held on Friday, January 7.
