Pat and Joyce Broxterman of Baileyville, Kim and Kerry Bramhall and family of Seneca and Stacie and Phillip Buessing of Axtell hosted the Broxterman family reunion held at the Axtell Legion on Sunday, January 23.Â Â Those attending were Betty Broxterman and Sandy Stallbaumer of Seneca, Richard and Sharon Broxterman of Sabetha, Bob and Ann Broxterman of Rossville, Kay Mitchell and Charles and Rita Broxterman of Frankfort, Mary and Linus Holthaus of Centralia, Ralph and Darlene Broxterman and Bill and Audrey Broxterman of Vermillion and Sister Anna Marie Broxterman of Concordia.Â Some other families from the area came to visit in the afternoon.
The Vermillion Community Club met on Monday evening, January 17, at Lee’s Cafe with 16 members present.Â Outgoing president Carol Bennett opened the meeting and the president elect Janet Cornelison took over to conduct the meeting.Â A 40 cup coffee maker has been purchased for use in school lunchroom.Â The club voted to send $500 to the Sighted Dog Program in Washington.Â The Club will have a Valentine party at the next meeting which will be held on February 7th.
The Vermillion Christian Church will hold it’s annual board meeting and pot-luck meeting in the Church basement, next Sunday after the Sunday worship.Â All are welcome to attend.
